For the third year running now, 'The Conch', UK Screen Association's Film, Commercial and Television Sound Awards, returns for 2008. With even more categories and applicants this year, 'The Conch' promises to be bigger and better than ever, showcasing the very best in UK audio talent and facilities. As last year, the awards will be held at The Mayfair hotel on Thursday 25th September from 7pm, with the ever-popular party afterwards.
The Conch capitalises on the UK's strong reputation for audio craft by recognising, rewarding and honouring individuals and companies for outstanding achievement in audio post-production. With a high profile independent judging panel and a stringent judging process the integrity of the awards, and therefore its winners, will be paramount.
